UFC on ESPN 34 co-main event
The fight will take place on April 17 in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) at the UFC Apex sports complex and will become part of the main card of the UFC on ESPN 34 tournament. The estimated start of the fight is 04:30 Kyiv time. The fight will be broadcast live on Setanta Sports.
Portuguese welterweight Andre Fialho (14-4) will take on Miguel Baeza of the United States.
Former Bellator fighter Fialho entered the UFC after winning four fights in a row by knockout and three of them in the first round. But he failed his debut and so far his only fight in the UFC, when in January at UFC 270 he lost a unanimous decision to Michel Pereira.
Baese also needs to close failures. Starting his career in the UFC with three wins, he then suffered two losses in a row. Miguel will return after losing a decision to Santiago Ponzinibbio and a knockout to Kalinn Williams in 2021.
Prediction for the fight
Two punchers meet in the cage, so the fight promises to be boring. Probably none of the opponents will try to fight on the ground, although Baeza looks like a more skilled grappler in this pair.
If we talk about the striking qualities of the fighters, then Fialho is more primitive and relies mainly on his hands, while Baeza can work with his hands and feet. Baeza’s low kicks can be a big problem for Fialho, plus Baeza has the best cardio. If Fialho does not cut down the opponent in the first round, then Baeza should win.
