Anatoly Mullikin: “I wouldn’t trade three ONE belts for one UFC belt.

ONE Championship triple champion Anatoly Malikin disagrees with the notion that one UFC belt trumps three titles.

The Russian fighter told USACHEV TV, “I would never trade three ONE belts for a UFC belt or any other title.” ‘This is my path and the Lord God brought me here. But I didn’t have mega-dreams of being in the UFC.

Mullikin also confirmed that he is ready to make 84 pounds to win his fourth ONE title belt at welterweight.

Mullikin said, “I can make 84 pounds easily, when I raced at 93 pounds I didn’t wear a sauna suit and I got to that weight easily with just training and dieting, 84 pounds is not a problem.”

On March 1, at ONE 166 in Qatar, Anatoly Mullikin became the first triple champion in mixed martial arts history when he took the ONE middleweight belt from Rainier de Ridder. The title match ended after three rounds when the battered Dutchman refused to get up from his parter and continue the meeting.

In December 2022, Mullikin won by first-round technical knockout to strip De Ridder of the ONE heavyweight title. Last June, the Russian successfully unified the current and interim ONE heavyweight titles by defeating Arjan Bullard via third-round technical knockout.
