Amanda Nunes commented on her defeat in the match against Julianne Peñe

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes shared her emotions after losing to Julianne Peñe.

Honestly, I did my best. I trained hard for the fight… But some problems that I had still remained. Though I thought I got rid of them. Congratulations to Julianne, she is a warrior and I knew it. I will come back stronger. She did not surprise me with anything, I knew that she was tough, steadfast, and would go forward. I need to work on the mistakes and I will come back stronger”, Nunes said in an octagon interview after the fight.

Nunes lost to Peña via rear naked choke in the second round of the title fight at UFC 269 in Las Vegas. The Brazilian girl ended her 12-match winning streak.
