Aljamain Sterling Predicts Sean O'Malley Fight

After successfully defending his title against Henry Cejudo, reigning UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling doesn’t know what Sean O’Malley is going to put up against him in his next fight.

“What is this guy going to do to me? No, really? ”, – said the American in the next edition of the MMA Hour program. “I’m not trying to be disrespectful – this is a fight and anything can happen but in the end we all know what kind of kryptonite he has. The only time he was on his back, he looked like a fish on land. Chito broke it and sent it home”

“I think Chito hit him once and he rolled his eyes. This is a bad sign. I think if I hit him and move him, the fight will end at the same moment. What will people say after I beat this guy? I think they will begin to understand that I am really good, and I confirm my words with deeds.

At the same time, Sterling is not sure that his fight with O’Malley will take place on August 19 at UFC 292 in Boston.

“Look, this is going to be the fastest comeback imaginable for a UFC champion. I just fought one of the toughest guys in the game and in a perfect world it can’t be August. If I could start preparing next week, I think it would be possible. But only if I can get started. I need to get some X-rays because I knocked off my legs in the fight with Henry, and they are very swollen.
