A bantamweight title fight between reigning UFC champion Aljamain Sterling and division number two Sean O’Malley will be the main event of UFC 292 on August 19 in Boston.
In the second most important event of the event, the reigning UFC strawweight champion, Weili Zhang, will defend her title against the fourth-ranked Amanda Lemos.
Title confrontations were officially announced by representatives of the organization.
Aljamain Sterling, 33, made his third successful defense of his title ten days ago, winning a five-round split decision over Henry Cejudo, and 28-year-old Sean O’Malley defeated former division champion Petr Yan in the last fight by a split decision.
Weili Zhang, 33, regained her UFC championship belt last November with a second-round rear naked choke finish against Carl Esparza, while Amanda Lemos, 35, pulled off two consecutive knockout victories, dispatching Michelle Waterson and Marina Rodriguez.
