Russian fighter Aliaskhab Khizriev will return to the octagon on February 3 at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, and his opponent will be Uzbekistan’s Mahmud Muradov.
The organization of the middleweight bout was reported by informed sources close to the situation.
Undefeated 33-year-old Aliaskhab Khizriev made a successful UFC debut last March, finishing his compatriot Denis Tuliulin with a second-round rear-naked choke.
Mahmud Muradov, 33, put his career back on track this past July after two straight losses, winning a unanimous decision over Bryan Barberena. Prior to that, Muradov lost by rear-naked choke to Gerald Merschart and also lost by unanimous decision to Caio Borrallo.
Neither fighter is currently ranked in the UFC’s top 15 middleweight division fighters.
