Alexander Shlemenko is officially scheduled to fight in the RCC league

Former Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko will return to the cage on May 4 at the RCC 19 tournament in Chelyabinsk, and the Russian’s opponent will be Kazakhstan’s Kuat Khamitov.

On the organization of the fight, which will be the main event of the event, officially reported the representatives of the Russian league.

Alexander Shlemenko, 39, picked up two early victories last year, finishing Brazilian Alex Oliveira with a guillotine choke and a technical knockout of Serbian Alexander Ilic. In doing so, “Storm” closed out a loss to Magomed Ismailov, to whom he lost by unanimous decision at December 2022.

Kuat Khamitov, 36, is riding a three-fight win streak following a split decision loss to Marif Piraev under the AMC Fight Nights banner in 2021.
