Alexander Shlemenko and Magomed Ismailov made weight

Russian fighters Alexander Shlemenko and Magomed Ismailov passed the official weigh-in procedure before the fight, which will headline the RCC 13 tournament in Yekaterinburg on December 3.

“Storm” made 84.15 kilograms with apparent ease, while “Bald Predator” recorded 84.25 kilograms on the scales, but, unlike the opponent, was not in the best physical condition.

“Now it feels very good, but it was hard,” Ismailov said, taking his first sip of water. “It is not easy to drive 84 kilograms. This time we took a risk with the team and slightly changed the approach to the end of the weight race, and we succeeded. I was worried only for this moment and I am glad that everything worked out for me.

“A man must endure difficulties in silence,” Shlemenko said after weighing. “In any case, whether it’s hard for me or not, you won’t know about it. And that’s how all men should behave.”

The fight of the Russian middleweights will not be a title fight, but its winner will receive a special championship belt from the RCC league, decorated with multi-level engraving, gilding and 980 Swarovski crystals.
