Popular Russian fighter Alexander Emelianenko has shared his opinion on a potential boxing match between his brother Fedor Emelianenko and the legendary Mike Tyson.
“I want to tell you my opinion on the upcoming fight between Fedor and Mike Tyson,” Emelianenko said in a video posted on social media. “In this fight I favor and bet on the victory of my brother Fedor, but not because he is my brother, but because he is unpredictable in boxing”
“Mike Tyson has boxing technique, boxing skills, boxing basics. He knows what to do when a man goes left, right, throws a left punch, hits a right, and Fedor is unpredictable, he’s unexpected, and that’s what he can play on and win against Mike Tyson. Tyson is a very good puncher, he’s tough, but Fedor is prepared, and he’ll come to this fight being even better prepared. I’m for my brother!”
“The Last Emperor” revealed his desire to share the ring with “Iron Mike” last week in an interview with sports columnist Ariel Helwani, suggesting that the bout in question could take place as part of an October 28 boxing night headlined by a fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou in Riyadh.
