Albert Duraev has withdrawn from his fight in the UFC

Russian middleweight Albert Duraev has withdrawn from UFC Fight Night 236, which was supposed to feature him sharing the octagon with Poland’s Robert Bryczek in a week.

His spot on the event’s card will be taken by Ukrainian Igor Losing, who agreed to step in as a replacement on short notice. There is no information yet on why the Russian withdrew from the fight.

Albert Durayev, 35, has been steadily alternating wins and losses for the past two years, losing by rear-naked choke in the second round to Yoon Yong Pak in his last fight.

Robert Brycek, 33, making his debut in the world’s strongest league, is riding a streak of four wins by knockout, having finished all of his opponents in the first round.

Welterweight Igor Losing, 27, returns to the octagon after two straight losses, losing by technical knockout to Carlos Ulberg and Rodolfo Bellato.
