Albert Duraev has been fired from the UFC

Russian middleweight Albert Duraev is no longer a fighter in the world’s strongest league.

Informed sources report that the Russian, who withdrew from his fight against Pole Robert Brycek at UFC Fight Night 236 in Las Vegas last week, has been removed from the organization’s roster.

Albert Duraev, 35, has been on a steady win-loss streak for the past two years, most recently losing by rear-naked choke in the second round to Yun Yong Park.

The Russian fighter has fought a total of four fights in the UFC, earning two wins by decision and suffering two early losses.

Duraev himself has not yet made any statements on the matter.
