One of the first Russian fighters in the UFC, now retired MMA fighter Adlan Amagov spoke about his attitude towards the current interim UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan.
“As the Dagestanis say, stone,” Amagov said on the Hustle MMA podcast. “I really don’t know who can beat him. This guy has everything. Even when he competed in ACB, he showed such fights! I fought Magomed Magomedov twice, they fought in the same breath for five rounds.
The 35-year-old Amagov has 14 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw. He fought his last fight in August 2016 against Dirley Broenstrup. The fight, which became part of the League S-70 tournament, ended with Amagov’s victory by submission in the first round. Shortly thereafter, the Russian ended his career as a professional fighter.
