Polish heavyweight Adam Kownacki (20-2, 15 KOs), who left the status of a top prospect after two early losses from Robert Helenius, intends to reconsider his attitude towards his boxing ahead of a return scheduled for July 30 in Brooklyn (USA).

Recall that Adam’s opponent will be the representative of Turkey, Ali Eren Demirezen (16-1, 12 KOs).

“Now this is my biggest fight that I have to win if I want to stay relevant in the heavyweight division,” said Kownacki. “I’m really focused and training like hell to come back with a home win on July 30th.”

“Particular attention is now on the work of the legs,” the Pole emphasized. – I remember being in the camp of Wladimir Klitschko, thinking: “Wow, this dude has incredible footwork.” He was really good at it. I know I can hit, and for most of my career, that’s exactly what I’ve been doing – walking and hacking. Specifically, in the last two fights (against Robert Helenius, approx. WMMAA) and that’s how it ended. Now I have to get back to the basics, footwork and the double jab.”
