ACA President Alexei Yatsenko spoke about promotion plans for 2022.
“In 2022, we will host 16 tournaments with a total bonus pool of over $1 million. At the end of each event, 50 thousand dollars are paid for the best performance, as well as bonuses are paid for bright early endings of the battle by technical action. The main location of tournaments in 2022, taking into account the restrictive effects of the pandemic, remains Russia, but we plan to hold a certain number of tournaments abroad,” the ACA press service quoted Yatsenko as saying.
Two championship fights will take place at the first ACA tournament in 2022 in Grozny. Magomedrasul Hasanov will defend his middleweight title against Abdul-Rakhman Dzhanaev in the ACA 135 main fight. The tournament will take place on January 28th.
