Abubakar Nurmagomedov has been removed from the UFC roster

Russian welterweight Abubakar Nurmagomedov is probably no longer a fighter in the world’s strongest league.

According to the public monitoring service, the 34-year-old Russian is currently not listed on the UFC roster, although the organization’s representatives have not made any official statements on the matter.

Abubakar Nurmagomedov had a disappointing debut in the UFC in November 2019, losing a triangle choke to David Zavada already in the first round. After that, the Russian fighter defeated Jared Gooden and Gadzhi Omargadzhiev by unanimous decisions before losing a split decision to Eliseu Zaleski dos Santos last June and never returned to the octagon.

In total, the Russian has seventeen professional victories, ten of which he won early, and four losses.
