UFC Fight Night 183 co-main event

This coming weekend, the UFC will hold its next tournament in their backyard – at the “UFC APEX” in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA). The UFC Fight Night 183 card show features the once formidable ex-champion of the promotion.

Alhassan and Williams from the welterweight division will meet in the co-main event in a cage.

Alhassan has a 4-2 record in the UFC, with all his victories in the octagon coming from knockouts in the first round. The Ghanaian puncher will return after losing a unanimous decision to Munir Lazzez in July. And this was Alhassan’s first fight since 2018, such a simple one connected with a trial for rape, but in the end the fighter was acquitted.

Williams spent only 27 seconds in the octagon. In February, he made his promotional debut at UFC 247, knocking out Alex Morono in less than half a minute. Prior to that, Williams hadn’t been anything remarkable, with a record of 9-1 as a pro and 11-3 as an amateur.

Prediction for the fight

Alhassan, as already mentioned, is a master of quick knockout, he strives to fight on his feet, but at the same time he has a judo background, and a very decent one. Williams also likes to “swing” on the stand and tends to get knocked out in the first round.

Given that both have “dynamite” in their hands and are hard to cut, it is reasonable to assume that the fight will not go the whole distance. Probably, we are waiting for an exchange, Alhassan looks like a more classy “slayer” in this pair.

Alhassan wins by knockout in the 1st round
