Pechanga Resort & Casino, Temecula, California, USA. Robert Garcia’s ward American lightweight prospect (up to 61.2 kg) Raymond Muratalia (15-0, 12 KOs) beat, but did not finish a certain young
Haira “Kaiser” Valtierre (16-2, 8 KOs) from Mexico.
The kicker spent the starting round calmly and prudently. Jebil was looking at his opponent, he was moving great. He was marked by a couple of powerful left side hooks on the body. The Mexican mostly tried to counter. In the second three-minute period, the favorite used his right hand more often – he caught Valtierra well twice.
In the 3rd round, Muratalia increased the density of the fight, combined, often disturbed with left hooks to the liver. The underdog was saved by the fact that he defended himself very well with his body and moved well. Valtierra threw two uppercuts and even broke the favorite’s nose with one of them.
In the 4th round, Muratalia scored a multi-hit combination and shook his opponent with a left hook to the temple. His legs buckled – he was knocked down, he survived until the gong.

Valtierra turned out to be a brave, persistent guy. He returned to the fight, but answered less and less often – most often he tried to catch with the right through his hand. In the last rounds, he picked up uppercuts, but refused to capitulate before the gong.
Judges score: expected three times 80-71.
Muratalia UD 8.
A cool performance, but in the co-main event, a knockout was still expected from the prospect.
