Title fights involving Fedor Emelianenko and Vadim Nemkov, which should be part of the Bellator 290 tournament, remain in effect after the Russian fighters were approved visas to the United States.
Bellator 290 will take place on Feb. 4 in Inglewood, California and will feature a heavyweight title fight between reigning division champion Ryan Bader and Fedor Emelianenko, who will end his professional career as the 46-year-old Russian heavyweight.
In the co-main event of the event, Vadim Nemkov, who won the Bellator Grand Prix a month ago, will defend his light heavyweight championship belt against Cuban Yoel Romero.
Also participating in the Bellator 290 tournament will be Russia’s Diana Avsaragova, who will share the cage with Colombia’s Alejandra Lara.
