Cris Cyborg is ready to return to the UFC

Former UFC champion and current Bellator featherweight titleholder Cris Cyborg is ready to return to the roster of the world’s strongest league.

“My record is 10-0 since that fight in 2018,” Cyborg wrote on social media. “If Amanda comes back, maybe it’s time for Cris Cyborg to come back to the UFC, Dana White.”

The occasion for this statement was an interview with Amanda Nunes, who, while attending last weekend’s vacant UFC flyweight title fight between Raquel Pennington and Mayra Bueno Silva, indicated that she may resume her professional career.

“I’m still young and fresh,” Nunes said in an interview with Megan Olivi. “It’s my job, which I really love, so, I don’t even know. I still like going to the gym, I still feel and think of myself as a champion, so we’ll see.”

Recall that the first fight between the Brazilian women took place in December 2018 and ended with a sensational victory of Amanda Nunes, who knocked out Cris Cyborg at 51 seconds of the match and took the UFC featherweight title from her.
