The winner of the Ngannou-Joshua fight will be the challenger for the title of the absolute world boxing champion

If Francis Ngannou defeats Anthony Joshua, “The Predator” will claim the absolute world heavyweight boxing title in his next fight.

According to the organizers in Saudi Arabia, the winner of this match will face the winner of the fight between Tyson Fury and Alexander Usik, who will determine the best heavyweight of our time on February 17 in Riyadh, unifying the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO and WBC titles. The fight between Francis Ngannou and Anthony Joshua will take place in the same arena on March 9.

In a recent interview, the former UFC heavyweight champion said that he would fight Fury if he defeats Joshua, regardless of the outcome of the fight between the Brit and the Ukrainian.

“I don’t want a fight with the winner of the Fury-Usik fight – I want Tyson Fury,” “The Predator” told TMZ. “Tyson owes me a fight. I don’t care who the winner is. I’m going after Tyson. Whether he loses or wins, I’m going to fight him.”

Francis Ngannou made his professional boxing debut last October, losing by split decision to “The Gypsy King” after ten rounds, knocking out the reigning world champion in the third round.

After the fight, the result of which many fans and experts considered controversial, the “World Boxing Council” decided to include “The Predator” in the official ranking, placing him at number ten in the WBC heavyweight division.
