The long-awaited rematch between Magomed Ismailov and Anatoly Tokov will take place this spring and will be part of the ACA league’s tenth anniversary event.
The bout was officially announced shortly after the head of the promotion, Mairbek Khasiev, announced the signing of “The Bald Predator” on social media.
The first fight between the Russian middleweights took place almost eleven years ago under the M-1 Global banner and ended with Tokov winning by kimura in the first round.
Last year, 33-year-old Anatoly Tokov made a failed attempt to take the Bellator middleweight championship belt from Johnny Eblin, losing to the American by unanimous decision over five rounds, while 37-year-old Magomed Ismailov had his last fight under mixed martial arts rules in December 2022, winning by unanimous decision over Alexander Shlemenko.
