Charles Oliveira is willing to organize a fight with Arman Tsarukyan

Charles Oliveira is happy to arrange a fight with Arman Tsarukyan.

Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira is not at all concerned that his next opponent will be Arman Tsarukyan instead of the division’s current champion Islam Makhachev.

This was reported by the Brazilian’s coach, Diego Lima.

“I know a lot of people didn’t like the organization of this fight,” the Brazilian specialist wrote on social networks. “I know everyone wanted to see Charles vs Islam again, but not everything happens the way we want, and honestly we are very happy to have this fight.”

“There are a few points that are important to note. Charles last fought last June, Islam didn’t come back until the second half and we couldn’t go more than a year without a fight. ‘Arman is very tough!” you say. When has Charles ever had easy opponents? Go to his record page and look at the names of at least his last ten opponents.”

“Charles has never given a break, and he never will – that’s why he is who he is, the real deal, and that’s why you love him. His road has never been easy. After losing the belt to Islam, he came back and defeated a potential title challenger who was riding an eight-fight win streak in a row by knockout in the first round.”

Three days earlier, UFC boss Dana White officially announced that the fight between Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan will take place on April 13 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas, with the winner challenging Islam Makhachev in the summer.
