Francis Ngannou’s fee for his fight with Anthony Joshua has been named

In his second fight under the rules of professional boxing, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will receive a fee twice the amount he earned for his fight with Tyson Fury.

Informed sources close to the situation report that the Cameroonian’s base fee for his fight with former world boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, will be around twenty million dollars, excluding sponsorship payments and interest from pay-per-view sales.

At the same time, The Sun claims that for the canceled fight with Deontay Wilder, the British boxer was guaranteed to earn about fifty million dollars, and agreed to fight “The Predator” on the same financial terms.

Francis Ngannou left the UFC early last year after refusing to sign a contract worth eight million dollars for three fights, and in October he added ten million dollars to his bank account by giving a competitive fight to the current WBC heavyweight boxing champion, Tyson Fury.

The Cameroonian not only stood up to “The Gypsy King” the entire distance, but also knocked the Briton down in the third round, eventually losing to one of the best boxers of our time by split decision, which many fans and experts considered controversial.

Recall that the ten-round boxing match between Francis Ngannou and Anthony Joshua will take place on March 9 in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
