Dustin Puryear has rated the likelihood of a fight with Nate Diaz as probable

Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Porier, who plans to compete at UFC 300, commented on rumors that his opponent could be Nate Diaz.

“No, that’s not going to happen,” “Diamond” wrote on social media in response to a fan’s pertinent question.

Ten days ago, Nate Diaz, who left the WWE’s strongest league as a free agent at the end of 2022, indicated he would like to participate in the anniversary event, immediately receiving calls from Dustin Puryear and Michael Chandler.

Two days ago, informed sources reported that Diaz was in early-stage talks with the UFC about his return to the organization.

Dustin Porier and Nate Diaz were supposed to fight back in 2018, but their fight was ultimately canceled, with the two sides still blaming each other for derailing the bout.

As a reminder, UFC 300 will take place on April 13 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
