Israel Adesanya has spoken out about his fight against Khamzat Chimaev

Former UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, has commented on rumors that his fight against Hamzat Chimaev will be part of the UFC 300 anniversary event, which takes place April 13 in Las Vegas.

“Lol where do they get this crap from?” the Nigerian wrote on social media, posting a screenshot of the news. “You are ready to believe anything, gullible turkeys.”

A few days earlier, the former UFC champion revealed that he had changed his mind about putting his career on pause, and that news of his next fight could be expected soon. Chimaev then posted two meaningful pictures on social media, expressing interest in a fight with Adesanya.

Israel Adesanya last fought in September at UFC 293 in Sydney, sensationally losing by unanimous decision to Sean Strickland and losing his championship belt, while the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev picked up his seventh win in the world’s strongest league in October, winning by majority decision over Kamaru Usman at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi.
