Conor McGregor has issued an ultimatum to the UFC

Former double UFC champion Conor McGregor, who plans to resume his professional career next year, is outraged by the attitude of the management of the world’s strongest league, which is in no hurry to return him to the octagon, and threatens to start negotiations for a boxing match against Manny Pacquiao.

“The UFC is not saying anything, but the guys in Saudi Arabia are talking about a fight against Manny Pacquiao,” the Irishman told talkSPORT at a boxing night in Riyadh. “I was supposed to come back in April but the UFC is silent. Give me someone already.”

“No one in the history of this game has ever been treated as badly as I’m being treated right now. I sell more than all the fighters combined and I don’t deserve to be treated like this. Considering where I started and what I’ve accomplished, they should open the damn floodgates for me! I’m waiting, but my patience is running out.”

Earlier, the Irishman’s manager, Odi Attar, announced that he is trying to secure a spot on the card for the UFC 300 anniversary event, which takes place April 13 in Las Vegas. McGregor’s most likely opponent is American Michael Chandler, with whom the Irish fighter coached rival teams in the last season of TUF.
