Piotr Jan’s likely opponent has been named

If former UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueredo, who made a successful debut in the league’s lightweight division last weekend, is ready to return to the octagon in March, Petr Yan’s team will consider the Brazilian as a potential opponent for his next fight.

In an interview. Vadim Tikhomirov said the Russian’s manager, Sayat Abdrakhmanov.

“Rob Font fought Deiveson Figueredo, so some ideas were discussed,” Abdrakhmanov said. “Maybe the UFC has some ideas of their own, we will offer our ideas. We’ll try to come to a common decision. Petr would like to come back in March, so we’ll see who will be available for March.”

The fight between Rob Font and Deiveson Figueredo, which was the third main event of UFC on ESPN 52, went the full distance and ended in a solid 30-27 three-round unanimous decision victory for the Brazilian.

Two weeks earlier, the Russian fighter announced that he plans to return to the octagon on March 9 at UFC 299, the location of which remains unknown.
