Israel Adesanya suggested kneeling to UFC middleweights

Former UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, believes middleweight fighters should be grateful to him for stripping Alex Pereira of his title and pushing the Brazilian to move up to the welterweight division.

“Middleweights should get on their knees before me and thank me for kicking this man out of the division,” the Nigerian said in another video posted on his Youtube channel. “If I didn’t, all of you would have to deal with him, over and over again. I highly doubt any of you are burning to fight this guy. I’ve fought him four times and I could only beat him once.”

Adesanya also shared his opinion on the upcoming fight between Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka, which will determine the new UFC bantamweight champion.

“I like this fight because they are both very unconventional in their style and approach to fighting. I’m betting on Jiri, and I don’t think the fight will go the full distance. At flyweight, this fight won’t last five rounds.”

Recall that the Czech-Brazilian title clash will be the main event of UFC 295, which will take place on November 11 in New York.
