ACA lightweight grand prix winner, Eduard Vartanyan, has refused to extend his agreement with the leading Russian league.
This was announced in his Telegram channel by the vice-president of the organization Aslanbek Badaev, responding to the relevant fan question.
“Information on Eduard Vartanyan has not appeared yet?”, – the fan asked.
“No deal,” Badaev replied.
Three months ago, the 32-year-old Russian fighter announced that he was reopening talks with the UFC, having already had an offer from Bellator in hand, however, he did not rule out that he could stay in the ACA league if he managed to attract interest.
In June of this year Eduard Vartanyan became the winner of the ACA lightweight grand prix, finishing Artem Reznikov by technical knockout in the third round. Prior to the fight with the representative of Kazakhstan, the Russian had seven more consecutive victories, five of them under the ACA banner.
