Alexander Volkov offered fans to choose his opponent

Russian heavyweight Alexander Volkov, who the day before announced his intention to return to the title race, offered fans to choose the next opponent he will challenge.

“I finished my last three fights early with confident victories,” “Drago” wrote on social media. “Feeling stronger than ever. While others were losing, I was learning.”

“You may or may not believe it, but now is my time! So the question is, who should I challenge to a duel next?”

Alexander Volkov, 34, last fought on Sept. 9 at UFC 293 in Sydney, finishing Australian knockout artist Tai Tuivasa with a second-round Ezekiel choke. Prior to that, the Russian knocked out Surinamese Jairzinho Rosenstrike and Alexandr Romanov, representing Moldova, in the first rounds.

After the fight with Tuivasa, Volkov said that he would like to revenge the defeats he suffered against Tom Aspinall and Cyril Gan.

The Russian fighter is currently ranked sixth in the UFC heavyweight division rankings.
