Tyson Fury responds to UFC president about fight with Jon Jones

The current WBC heavyweight boxing champion, Tyson Fury, reacted to the statement of UFC President Dana White, who invited him to fight Jon Jones under the auspices of his organization.

The Briton made it clear to the head of the UFC that he was not going to make his debut in MMA, and was ready to fight the American only according to the rules of boxing.

“If you guys want to fight me, it will be by the rules of boxing. I don’t roll on the floor – I stand and punch!” the Gypsy King wrote on the social media, quoting White’s statement.

A day earlier, the head of the UFC commented on the skirmish between Jon Jones and Tyson Fury, declaring his readiness to organize this fight. Recall that the conflict between the heavyweights was provoked by Fury’s insulting statement to UFC commentator Joe Rogan, who did not give him a chance in a hypothetical fight with Jones.

According to the UFC plan, in November, Jon Jones was supposed to defend his heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic, but today it was reported that this fight is in doubt, and that the next opponent of the UFC champion could be Russian Sergey Pavlovich, who occupies the second position in the ranking division.
