Arman Tsarukyan appointed another fight in the UFC

UFC lightweight number eight, Arman Tsarukyan, will return to the octagon on June 17 at UFC on ESPN 47 in Las Vegas, and the Russian’s opponent will be Brazilian Joaquim Silva, who is not among the best fighters in the division.

Sportswriter Brett Okamoto announced the organization of the fight.

Arman Tsarukyan, 26, got his career back on track last December by defeating Damir Ismagulov via unanimous decision. Six months earlier, “Akhalkalaki” lost by unanimous decision to Mateus Gamrot, thereby interrupting their own series of five victories. The next opponent of the Russian fighter was supposed to be Renato Moicano, however, the fight was canceled due to an injury to the Brazilian.

Joaquim Silva, 34, is also making a comeback after his win, finishing last October with a second-round TKO of Jesse Ronson. Prior to this, the Brazilian spent seven fights in the UFC, winning four and suffering three losses.
