Max Holloway named a potential rival

After keeping Arnold Allen out of the fight for the title, former UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway wants to see the “Korean Zombie” with whom he has never shared the octagon with his next opponent.

“Korean Zombie is the only veteran I haven’t fought,” Blessed said in a press conference after UFC on ESPN 44. “I would love to have this fight. If the Korean Zombie wants it, he can have it.”

The fight between Max Holloway and Arnold Allen, who headlined the event held in Kansas City, went the whole distance and ended with the victory of the American by unanimous decision. Thus, Holloway returned his career to a successful track after another title defeat from Alexander Volkanovski, to whom he lost by unanimous decision in July last year.

“Korean Zombie” Chen Sung Jong hasn’t fought since last April, when he lost to Volkanovski via TKO in the fourth round at UFC 273 in Jacksonville.

Max Holloway and the Korean Zombie currently sit second and sixth in the UFC featherweight rankings, respectively.
