Iconic heavyweight Mike Tyson urges not to write off two-time unified British heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) after two consecutive defeats to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
By
words Tyson, “we are talking about a talented fighter. His only task now is not to despair. Do you know when a fighter can be completely written off? When he gave up. Only at that moment all doors and all possibilities are closed before him. And there is no point in despairing over defeat. Especially after one in which you made 30 million bucks.
Tyson believes that Joshua can return to the top, but warns the former champion: “The more time you spend outside the ring, the worse you get. How to stay in top shape? How long to stay on top? You need to constantly fight, enter the ring more and more often.
Joshua will resume his career on April 1 – he will fight with the American middle man Jermaine Franklin. His new coach believes that AJ will beat Usyk on the third try.
