Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira is likely to insure a super title fight between Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski, who will split the octagon in less than a week.
“I’m going to Australia. Everything is by the will of God,” the Brazilian wrote on the social network, posting a photo with a passport and tickets.
Oliveira has previously spoken on numerous occasions that he plans to fight one more fight before challenging Makhachev, who finished him by arm triangle choke last October to capture the vacant UFC lightweight championship belt. At the same time, the fourth number of the division, Benil Dariush, said in a recent interview that his fight with the Brazilian is in development and could take place in May of this year.
Recall that the superfight between Islam Makhachev and Charles Oliveira on February 11 will head the UFC 284 tournament in Perth, Australia.
