Bellator 290 hosted in Inglewood, California

On the night of February 4-5, a mixed martial arts tournament was held in Inglewood, California Bellator 290.

The main event was a rematch between 39-year-old Bellator Heavyweight Champion Ryan Bader of the United States (30-7, 1 NC) and 46-year-old Fedor Emelianenko (40–6, 1 NC).

In their first fight at Bellator 214 in January 2019, the American knocked out his opponent in the first round in 35 seconds.

This time the fight lasted 2.5 minutes, but with the same result. Bader dropped the opponent and killed him with powerful blows until the referee stopped the fight. This was the last fight of old Fedor in his career – Emelianenko announced his retirement.

In the second most important event, the middle division champion Johnny Eblen from USA (12–0) made a successful first defense against Anatoly Tokov (31–2). At the end of 5 rounds, all judges gave the advantage to the American: 50–45, 49–46, 49–46
