The legendary Russian heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko has arrived in the United States for a fight with Ryan Bader, in which the American will defend the Bellator heavyweight championship belt.
This was announced by the second of the “Last Emperor”, Vadim Nemkov, by posting a corresponding video on social networks.
“Arrived in Los Angeles,” said the reigning Bellator light heavyweight champion.
A heavyweight title fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Ryan Bader will be the main event at Bellator 290 on February 4th. In the co-main event of the event, Emelianenko’s student Anatoly Tokov will try to take the Bellator middleweight championship belt from American Johnny Eblin.
A rematch with Bader, whom Emelianenko lost four years ago by technical knockout in the first round, will be the final fight in his professional career for the 46-year-old Russian heavyweight.
