On another black day of Russia’s aggressive war against Ukraine, when terrorists
destroyed rocket X-22 residential apartment building in the Dnieper, the legendary Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) recorded an appeal to the Defense Forces. It happened within the
broadcasts on his Instagram.
Usik, of course, made the appeal in Ukrainian.
“Ze-se-u! To all the lads, to harrow them at once, to the girls … Vee – the power is strong. See the strength of the force, that no one can be seen, the strength. Vi … From є the word strength – otse є vie, tse ZSU, tse the whole of Ukraine. FORCE. Zhovto-blakitna power, ”Alexander briefly summed up the 14 minutes of the stream.

The boxer spent this session a couple of hours before the first massive Russian missile attack in 2023 against civilian objects in Ukraine. The goal is to deprive Ukrainians of electricity, heating, water and other basic services, thereby causing a humanitarian catastrophe. Moscow mistakenly believed that these war crimes of its own would provoke protests among the people in order to force official Kyiv to capitulate in the war, and now it is probably simply taking revenge on the Ukrainians for the strategic failure of plans to eliminate Ukraine and the people, trying to cause maximum damage to infrastructure and the economy.
Meanwhile, Usyk’s fight against WBC champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 23 KOs) seems to be preparing for the beginning of spring. He will be for undisputed heavyweight champion status in an era of four major titles for the first time in history.
