Former UFC flyweight champion Rose Namajunas ended the year in a devastating defeat, losing ahead of schedule to the representative of the flyweight division Gillian Robertson in a grappling match at the FURY Pro Grappling 6 tournament held in Philadelphia.

30-year-old Rose Namajunas lost the UFC championship belt again in May, losing in a five-round split decision to Carla Esparza.
