Former two-category world champion American Shakur Stevenson (19-0, 9 KOs) will be the most difficult opponent for another unbeaten conqueror of several categories from the USA, Gervonta “Tank” Davis (27-0, 25 KOs), if they ever cross in the ring.
This opinion was expressed by the infamous ex-champion Adrien Browner, who is going to restart his career again.
“In my opinion, Shakur Stevenson would be the most difficult opponent for Tank, although Tank has everything necessary to calculate any opponent,” said Broner. “He knows how to adapt, knows how to find a way to win. But Shakur will definitely be the one who gives him the most trouble in the ring.”
Recall that Davis is scheduled to defend his secondary WBA World lightweight title (up to 61.2 kg) against Dominican Hector Luis Garcia (16-0, 10 KOs) on January 7, and Stevenson, it seems, has already decided on an opponent for spring.
