On the island of Jamaica in the Caribbean, two once top heavyweights met and took a joint photo. The picture showed the world-famous Lennox Lewis (41-2-1, 32 KOs), the last absolute of the division, and his compatriot Frank Bruno (40-5, 38 KOs), more legendary on the scale of the UK.
“Frank and I in Jamaica are ready to fight against anyone who volunteers!”
signed snapshot of mischievous “grandfathers” Lennox.
Check out these big boys from London – 57-year-old Lewis and 61-year-old Frank:
Bruno, recall, won the champion title on the fourth attempt in 1995 – and immediately missed him in his debut defense, being destroyed in three rounds by Mike Tyson.
Fury could beat Lewis? Antonio Tarver has an opinion on this matter. And Bruno believes that in his era Tyson would have been devoured with giblets, and reasonably puts on Fury in a mega fight with Joshua.
