Former UFC bantamweight champion, TJ Dillashaw, indirectly confirmed the information that his resignation is not final and irrevocable.
“Let’s see how successfully everything will develop outside the cage,” the American said in an interview with Food Truck Diaries. “How busy I will be and what my life will be like. Maybe I’ll be so busy that I just won’t have time to go back.”
“When I got back, I put my business aside to get ready for the fight. My business will feed me for the rest of my life, and I’m only getting paid for fights now.”
36-year-old TJ Dillashaw last fought on October 22 at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi, suffering an early loss in a title fight with Aljamain Sterling.
After the fight, Dillashaw operated on his injured shoulder and notified the UFC about his retirement, however, many decided that in this way the ex-champion decided to get rid of the US Anti-Doping Agency checks for the recovery period, following the example of Conor McGregor.
