Former interim UFC heavyweight champion Cyril Gan shared his take on the fight between Tai Tuivasa and Sergey Pavlovich, in which the Russian fighter scored an impressive knockout victory.
“Keep your head up, buddy Tai Tuivasa. And Pavlovich… you are a REAL THREAT!” the Frenchman wrote on the social network.
The heavyweight fight, which became part of the UFC on ESPN 42 tournament in Orlando, ended already at the 54th second, and during this time the Russian managed to drop the Australian three times and turn his face into a bloody mask.
Three months earlier, Tuivasa suffered an early defeat in the confrontation with Gan, whom he lost by knockout in the third round.
Currently, Cyril Gan is recovering from surgery on his arm and is ranked first in the UFC heavyweight rankings, and Sergey Pavlovich, who is in fifth position in the top ten of the division, should rise to at least fourth place in the near future.
