One of the few cruiserweight and heavyweight conquerors in the history of boxing, Briton David Haye is dissatisfied with fellow heavyweights Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs), who could not agree on a December fight .

The negotiations ended with both sides blaming each other for the lack of feedback, after which they decided to go in different directions: Fury in December will hold an interim fight with Briton Derek Chisora, whom he had previously defeated twice. And Joshua will be back in the ring next spring.

“What really happened there? I have no idea,” Hay says. “And I don’t know who is right and who is wrong in this situation. And I also believe that the information that we receive, in most cases, is not 100% reliable. You know, I have never allowed information about the course of negotiations to become public. I believe that if a fighter does not want to fight, then the fight will not take place. They can always hide behind their teams.”

According to Haye, “The best always fight the best. The only time that didn’t happen was when Riddick Bowe threw his belt in the trash to avoid getting in the ring with Lennox Lewis.”

Haye had a violent rupture last month. He said that everything is very bad in boxing – it turned out to be an angry-obscene speech. And a little earlier, rumors spread that the ex-champion had problems – allegedly “grabbed by the throat and threatened to kill.”
