Stevenson took the bull by the horns and sent the contract to Cepeda. Cool fight to be?

Undefeated former two-division world champion Shakur Stevenson (19-0, 9 KOs) seized on a potentially huge fight that came to a head when top prospect William Cepeda (27-0, 23 KOs) responded positively to his “half-challenge” – and picked up, so to speak, the thrown glove.

Shakur recently said that he would not mind boxing, for example, with ex-champion from Australia George Cambosos or spectacular Mexican grunt Cepeda. William answered immediately.

Now the American writes that he has taken the bull by the horns and has already sent the draft contract to the Mexican.

“Yo Cepeda, the offer was sent today,” Shakur wrote in
Twitter.

If the fight is really quickly organized, it will be an example for many how to do it. But the Cruzes do not want a fight with Stevenson: they say Lomachenko is easier, we will knock him out.

Rio 2016 Olympic silver medalist Stevenson (Top Rank) and Cepeda (Zanfer Boxing/Golden Boy Promotions) are ranked third and fourth respectively in the WBC rankings.

Stevenson beat Lomachenko, Haney, Davis and Garcia? The legend suggests not to rush.
