Ex-WBA super lightweight champion Regis Prograis (27-1, 23 KOs), who will return this weekend in a tough fight against Jose Cepeda (35-2, 27 KOs), appreciated two upcoming fights of popular boxers.

The first is a 10-round meeting between ex-absolute Teofimo Lopez (17-1, 13 KOs) and Sandor Martin (40-2, 13 KOs).

“I’m glad that Teofimo at 63.5 kg, the division is really fire right now, so I insisted on staying here, although I could have gotten heavier,” Prograis said. “Martin will be a good test for Lopez, this is a really good fight. It’s better than Pedraza, Sandor will come out to hack for the win. At the same time, we will see if Theo is ready for 140 pounds.

Regis Prograis – Jose Cepeda: forecast and bets for the fight on November 27

Beyond that, Regis believes that the upcoming lightweight fight between Gervonta Davis (27-0, 25 KOs) and Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) is “good.”

“I’m betting on Tank, but Ryan’s self-confidence is off the charts. This is a fight that I hope to see in person if I’m not at camp at the time. And, of course, I want to fight the winner, ”summed up Prograis.

Recall that during his career, Regis lost only in the final of the Super Series, where he was forcedly passed by Josh Taylor. His upcoming comeback tops our list of November 2022 boxing major fights.
