Former UFC light heavyweight title contender Brazilian Thiago Santos has joined an extensive list of fighters who have expressed a desire to become a rival to the popular content maker and influencer, American Jake Paul (6-0, 4 KOs).
Santos (22-11 in MMA), who recently parted ways with the UFC and signed with the PFL, considers himself the first truly worthy opponent Jake could face in the boxing ring.
“Hey Jake Paul! You have fun boxing wrestlers and old men. How about taking on a real opponent?”
inquired Santos on social media
Recall that at the end of October, Paul won his sixth victory in profiboxing, winning on points with a knockdown in the last round against MMA legend Anderson Silva.
On the eve of Jake, he verbally agreed to go to the UK in order to finally box with local light heavyweight Tommy Fury (8-0, 4 KOs) in February 2023. However, the American has a condition.
Despite his recent entry into the ring, Paul continues to train and hone his skills. He’s sparring with a world champion, he’s impressed.
