Remember, in March, we talked about Tyson selling Holyfield’s “bitten off ears”?
We are talking about jelly candies in the shape of ears. That is, a reference to the scandalous episode that took place in June 1997 in Las Vegas (USA) in a rematch between iconic American heavyweights Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield.
Tyson was infuriated by the dirty boxing performed by the opponent, as well as ignoring by the referee. After another headbutt from Holyfield, he dug his teeth into his ear and bit off a piece.
It turns out that these are not just jelly candies. This is a cannabis product. And Holyfield agreed to record a funny advertisement for this product with Tyson.
In the video, Mike hums a popular hit from 1963 It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year (This is the most beautiful time of the year). But in his execution the word year (year) looks too much like ear (ear).
Do you mean my ear? Holyfield asks Tyson.
There is another version of advertising. In it, Tyson and Holyfield exchange Christmas gifts. Mike gives Evander a bag of these candies, claiming that “this is the very bitten off ear.”
Holyfield claims that “his ear can’t taste like cherry pie”, to which Tyson retorts, “Since I ate your ear, I shouldn’t know better.”

Meanwhile, Tyson continues to campaign for the free sale of cannabis. He stated that “if he had been “under the weed” then, he would not have bitten off Evander’s ear.
And Holyfield admitted: “At first, all this did not seem funny to me. But then I realized that Tyson is even harder. Have I tried this product? Oh yeah. I have taken all security measures. So I ate a candy and immediately went to bed. And in the morning, when I woke up, I had only one thought in my head: “Wow!”
Do you know that at the beginning of the month the ex-boxer was taken with cocaine for >$1 billion? He says he happened to pass by. And last December, 200 kg of crystal methamphetamine was hidden in boxing equipment.
