Kazakh super middleweight Aidos Yerbosynuly (16-1, 11 KOs) suffered a serious brain injury in a losing match against WBA World Champion from Cuba David Morrell (8-0, 7 KOs) on November 6 in the United States.

According to well-known columnist Dan Rafael, Yerbosynuly’s condition after the fight was assessed as “critical”, and the boxer was put into a medically induced coma. Aidos has been diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage and is being prepared for surgery.

Recall that the result of the fight was the victory of Morrel by knockout in the 12th round – here is a video of how it was. The Kazakhstani left the ring on a stretcher.

Earlier, the winner’s coach, Ronnie Shields, suggested that Yerbosynuly’s career was in jeopardy due to severe beatings.
