Remember US heavyweight doping recidivist Jarrell Miller (25-0-1, 21 KOs)?
In the summer of 2019 in the USA, he was supposed to box with the unified world champion Briton Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs), but was caught doping. Miller was replaced by compatriot Andy Ruiz (35-2, 22 KOs) and made one of the greatest upsets in heavyweight history, knocking out the champion.
Miller
thinksthat in fact it was not Ruiz who defeated Joshua, but himself. Apparently, he means a press conference at which he slightly knocked with the Briton: “Now Anthony has zero whole f * n tenth belts. But I would still fight with this asshole, with this tea and pancake lover. You can see for yourself that ever since I kicked his ass in New York, he hasn’t been the same. His eggs are gone. It was alternately smoked by Ruiz and Usyk twice.”
Miller believes that “the media is to blame for everything. They can be not only your best friend, but also your worst enemy. And they became both for Joshua. They made this pepper what it is not. What kind of killer is he? What the hell is he? Believe me, I know killers and real monsters, and he is definitely not one of them. And I always knew it. I knew that when he was against real talent, he would immediately crack. And so it happened. Usyk just ran around him and beat him.”
Meanwhile, promoter Eddie Hearn has named a prime candidate to fight Joshua in March. And the ex-champion himself suddenly wanted Jalolov and again Ruiz.
